This class will teach you a coloration method is like no other. Learn to give metals a bold yet elegant quality, building surfaces that range from opaque and powerful to delicate and translucent.

Use this process on jewelry, holloware or sculpture. These colors are applied cold,  are permanent and non-toxic. They can be mixed, matched and overgrazed to produce exact color outcomes.

Class Overview: Learn how to create any color you choose on any type of metal. You will be able to progress at your own level and achieve hues and surface qualities that you never imagined possible on metal. Determine beforehand what your final outcome will be or let the process evolve and surprise you! Focus solely on this patina process or simultaneously combine your coloration investigations with a creative metals project to take home with you.

Bring finished metal pieces to color in order to take home completed color pieces as well as an inventory of color samples from your experiments and the confidence to personalize future work with this process.

Skill Level: All skill levels welcome.
