Give your metal work a new and elegant look by adding exciting colors. Spend 4-fun filled days with Carol Warner, developing an endless inventory of colors and making a beautifully colored piece of jewelry to take with you. If you find yourself torn between your passion for metalsmithing and your love of color, then this workshop is for you!

Overview:

This class will focus on creative experimentation, allowing students to gain both the experience and confidence to create any color imaginable using Carol’s techniques and materials. Simultaneously use your current jewelry making skills to create a pin or brooch in your own personal style.

Progress at your own level in both areas, sawing, soldering and finishing your jewelry piece while achieving hues and surface qualities that you never imagined possible on metal. You will leave with a finished piece of jewelry and dozens of coloration examples as well as a deeper understanding of using color to achieve your own style of metal work at home!
